Edge AI on three phones: the athlete journal, weekly stats and the AI coach chat.

Edge AI — AI cricket coaching for athletes, coaches and parents

Athletes log training, coaches turn it into reports, and an AI coach fills the days in between.

Testimonials

Very proactive, good communication. I know I can 100% rely on Nia — the work is always the best design quality. She thinks further than I do and this helps the project very much.
Lisa C. Client, Sonosift
From day one, Nia delivered work with minimal technical errors, freeing the team to focus on experience and visuals rather than fixes. She was also the most proactive voice in improving our design process.

Brand archetypes, applied to UX/UI

Visual direction agreed in words, before the first moodboard.

Brand archetypes grew out of Carl Jung's psychology; Margaret Mark and Carol S. Pearson shaped them into twelve for branding. Guides to them stop there, so I mapped them to UX/UI examples for my team; my team lead proposed adding it to our process. With clients, it turns visual choices into reasons, not feelings alone.

I didn’t know much about brand archetypes before — this gave me so much clarity. I think you nailed it with the ones you picked.

Hello, I'm Nia.

About

I came to design from literature and linguistics. Both my theses were on imagery in W. B. Yeats: how words make you see, hear and feel. Earlier coursework on colour symbolism in The Great Gatsby started an interest I've kept since. I still read a design the way I'd read a text: for the meaning behind it.

Since 2023 I've designed apps and websites end to end, usually as the only designer on the project. Next, I want to stay with one product long enough to see what people do with it, and design from that evidence.

Away from the screen I knit and make stained glass. Both take patience and precision, and both end with something I can hold.
